Feilding Town Centre 2040

(Posted on: October 15)

When we look to the future we have a view of what it is, it may be a movie themed look with flying cars and homes in the clouds, or it may be more conservative with traditional homes and towns.

If you had the opportunity to re-imagine Feilding’s Town Centre – what would it be like?

Would it be glass and steel, would it be Edwardian as it is today or a mix, what would you do there, what type of shops and cafes or what would you do there. Would you go to a library, see council, use a skateboard, picnic in the square.  Will it be pedestrian friendly and what about electric cars.

Council is looking to the future of Feilding’s Town Centre and wants your help to create a vision for what it could be like in 2040.

During the next 6 weeks we will asking to help us re-imagine the town centre.

We will be running some public and community workshops and will have an internet site (from 18 Oct) for you to tell us what you think you will need, or how you see yourself using the town centre.

Throughout the six weeks we will be providing feedback about what you have been tell us on 31 Oct, 14 Nov and 28 Nov.
