Kimbolton Road Watermain Upgrade
Construction of the $600,000 Kimbolton Road cast iron watermain upgrade between North and Beattie Streets is underway.
Just over 1.5km of new pipe will be laid in the outbound parking lane of Kimbolton Road and road users can expect minimal impact or delays. Residents will be notified when work is about to begin in their area but there should be minimal disruption to everyday activities.

The link main across Kimbolton Road to Seddon Street was installed. It is connected to the existing 200mm main on the northern side of the road and is also connected to the main on the southern side and the main in Seddon Street. This link main is now live. The trench across the road will be sealed as soon as test results confirm the backfill has been adequately compacted and the basecourse is ready.
The trench alignment for the new main has been pre-cut and a few lengths of the new main have been installed.
