Making a complaint

While we do our best, we don’t always get things right.

If you’d like to make a complaint about an interaction you’ve had with us, send it to complaints@mdc.govt.nz.

Reporting an issue

To report a maintenance issue such as a pothole or blocked drain, check out Report It, Fix My Street on our website, call us on 06 323 0000 or drop into our office at 135 Manchester Street, Feilding.

Don’t take it out on our people

We want to provide a safe and respectful environment for our people. We don’t tolerate inappropriate behaviour, which includes:

  • Aggression 
  •  Violence
  •  Swearing
  •  Theft
  •  Damage
  •  Intimidation
  •  Demanding
  •  Weapons
  •  Abuse
  •  Threats
  •  Sexual harrassment
  •  Harrassment                                  
  •  Vexatious complaints          

Inappropriate behaviour

If you act inappropriately towards our staff, elected members or other visitors, whether in person, by phone or via written or electronic correspondence (including email), we may specify the means by which you must communicate with us. This may include the method of communication, to whom, and how frequently. In the case of serious or repeated inappropriate behaviour, we may trespass or prosecute you.
