Candidates Electoral Expense Returns 2016

Each candidate is required to keep a record of all campaign election expenses, and must furnish a return to the Electoral Officer within 55 days of the election result being declared.

The return of electoral expenses and electoral donations form then becomes a public document and can be inspected by any person for a period of 7 years after receipt.

The Electoral Officer is required to make the expenditure return available on the Council's website.
