Animal Control

The objectives of Animal Control in our District are:
  • To minimise any danger, distress or nuisance to the community
  • To prevent dogs from having uncontrolled access to public places. This enables the public to use streets and public amenities without fear of attack or intimidation by dogs
  • To provide for the exercise and recreational needs of dogs and their owners
