Recycling

Recyclables are collected from the kerbside on the same day as the weekly council refuse bag collection in Feilding.

For district residents living outside Feilding, recyclables can be delivered free to transfer stations at Kimbolton, Bunnythorpe, Feilding and Rongotea and recycling centres at Sanson, Pohangina, Tangimoana and Himatangi Beach.

By recycling you will save on the cost of rubbish bags and the items you recycle can be used to make new products. Everyone benefits.

Recycling in the Manawatu District is funded through targetted rates, so there are no additional direct costs when you deliver recyclable items to a recycling centre or, for Feilding residents, when they are collected from the kerbside.
