Mayoral By-Election

Notice is given that on Wednesday 7 March 2012 a by-election will be held to fill the extraordinary vacancy for the position of Mayor of the Manawatu District. The Ministry of Civil Defence has launched a new website as part of their 'Get Ready Get Thru' campaign, which is designed to boost public awareness and understanding of the need to prepare to face disasters by having a plan, and storing water and other things you'll need in an emergency.
