As important as walking and talking, swimming is a skill for life!
The Makino Swim School offers many lesson programmes to suit a wide range of ages and abilities. Lesson programmes include learn-to-swim through to improving skills and endurance.Each programme is designed to develop your child's swimming ability as well as teach personal and group survival and rescue techniques.
Lessons run during the school terms. Children attend once a week for up to 10 weeks.Enrol your children in lessons with our friendly instructors Adie, Heidi, June, Nicole, Rachelle and Pam this term!
 Baby Classes 6 - 18 months
Parent & child classes using song and games to teach water skills in a safe and happy environment.
$62.00 per term Duration: 30 mins
Toddler Classes 18 - 36 months
Parent & child classes encouraging children to move more on their own in the water using song and games in a safe & happy environment.
$62.00 per term Duration: 30 mins
Pre-School Classes 3 - 5 years
Watch your child's water confidence grow as they learn to float, kick and use their arms in the water.
$75.00 per term Duration: 30 mins
School Age Classes 5 - 16 years
We offer many classes covering confidence, stroke development and breathing techniques for all strokes depending on ability.
$85.00 per term Duration: 30 mins
Advanced Classes
Concentration on technique development and basic training principles to prepare your child for future training programmes.
$80.00 per term Duration: 60 mins
One-On-One Classes
Give your child one-on-one lessons to work on a specific area of development (where pool space available).
Pre-School: $150.00 per term - School Age: $170.00 per term Duration: 30 mins
Adult Classes
Always wish you had learned to swim, or need extra work on confidence or stroke development? Join our friendly instructors for a one-on-one lesson.
$20 per lesson Duration: 30 mins
