Council Contractors

All contractors or subcontractors carrying out work on behalf of Manawatū District Council must be pre-qualified before commencing any work, or submitting a tender if the tender process is applicable. Pre-qualification is also applicable to any service provider who intends to offer its services to Council.

To become prequalified with Manawatū District Council, please select the relevant form from the list above, complete the form in its entirety, attach all of the required information and return it in one of the following ways:

  • Email all information to healthandsafety@mdc.govt.nz
  • Drop it into the Council offices at 135 Manchester Street, Feilding, or
  • Post it to:

Due to our close relationship and shared services agreement with Rangitikei District Council, by completing our pre-qualification process, you will also become prequalified with their Council.

Please note, pre-qualification is valid for 2 years from the date of acceptance. We will contact you before your 2 years is up and request updated information. By being prequalified with Manawatū District Council, you are not automatically entitled to receive work on behalf of Council.
