Refreshing Local Democracy

My principal place of residence is in the Manawatū Rural General Ward area.

I have worked in public service for 35 years, in broadcasting, police and education. I am a good communicator, having worked with people from all walks of life.

I seek to bring transparency into community leadership, emphasizing public engagement and fully-informed decisionmaking.

Honesty and integrity are values that are important to me.

I have lived in the Halcombe community for nearly 30 years and want to work with rural communities to ensure they have a voice, especially in these uncertain times.

With the cost-of-living rising, rates need to remain affordable. This is an issue that must take precedence.

I believe in preserving our Kiwi culture. I would work to protect private property ownership rights and free-speech, also promoting individualism and free-enterprise.

I look forward to having the opportunity to engage with you, listen to your concerns and act on them, if elected to Council.
