My principal place of residence is in the Manawatū Rural General Ward area.
I am a fourth-generation Rangiwahia farmer married to Mary, a Feilding Practice Nurse, and have three sons. I volunteer some of my time to pest control in the Ruahine Range and local reserves. I have actively participated in the Rangiwahia community for over 37 years and have been a committed Manawatu Councillor for the past 9. For three years I have been Apiti and Waituna West's liaison Councillor. Manawatu's continued growth and development at a local level without central government interference is important to me. I am elected to listen to and represent the people of Manawatu and believe I have done so. I will continue to be a strong rural voice in Council and bring an understanding and experience of rural and village matters. On this basis I am seeking re-election in the Rural Ward and will continue to work on behalf of all who live within Manawatu.
