Pre-Election Report 2022

We have published our Pre-Election Report ahead of the 2022 local election. This is a legislative requirement of the Local Government Act 2002, which the Chief Executive has prepared, independently of the Mayor and Councillors.

There are a number of challenges facing our district over the coming few years, and these are outlined in the report. Potential candidates will need to consider these challenges should they be successful in their campaigns to get elected.

It also provides information on the major projects that Manawatū District Council intends to fund over the next three years.
