| Response: | ​Using the property information as at the rates strike on 1st July 2022 we do not have a classification for ‘urban’. We would need to understand what the person is meaning when they refer to urban – for instance Halcombe is listed as rural but some may call it urban. There are 7 classifications of differential categories used at MDC, The general rate is charged to all the rating properties and has these classifications: Using the differential categories for Library and Makino Aquatic Centre we group the properties into the following categories (this is a targeted rate so not all properties pay it, therefore it may not be a measure that fits) |
