| Response: | ​Our Council has been instrumental in the forming and running of the Communities 4 Local Democracy group since its inception, with our Mayor being the Chair of the group. Our Council was unanimous in its desire to want to join Communities 4 Local Democracy following extensive interaction with our community back in September last year. During a number of public meetings, and 2419 submissions made to Council it was clear that at least 94% of the community opposed the Three Waters Proposal. |
