Council has not issued any infringements for the offence of driving on the beach in breach of our bylaws
MDC have not received any complaints specifically relating to driving on the beach in breach of our bylaws however, there have been concerns raised during community meetings over the speed of cars along the beach front in the area designated by Council for driving. Official information request - Information regards vehicles failing to display vehicle registration
Waka Kotahi have transferred to us the following questions from your OIA request as it is more closely connected with the functions of local council;
1• The total revenue accrued from fines for vehicle with current registration failing to display vehicle registration for each of the years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
2• The total revenue accrued from fines failing to display vehicle registration for each of the years 2021, 2022, and 2023.
