Proposed Temporary Closure of Manchester Street and Manchester Square
PURSUANT to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manawatū District Council, for the purpose of permitting Feilding Hot Rod and Classic Car Club to conduct a charity event display of hot rods and classic cars, proposes to close the following roads listed hereunder to ordinary vehicular traffic on Saturday 14 November 2026 from 7.30am until 2.30pm.
Manchester Street - from its intersection with Bowen Street to its intersection with Kimbolton Road
Manchester Square - from its intersection with Kimbolton Road at the Feilding hotel to its intersection with Kimbolton Road at YOU travel.
Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing, before 4.00 pm, Friday 22 May 2026, at the office of the Manawatū District Council, Private Bag 10001, Feilding, or email public@mdc.govt.nz. Any objections received by Manawatū District Council for this proposed road closure may be passed on to the Event Organiser. This may include contact details to allow the Event Organiser to make contact to discuss and attempt to resolve any concerns with the person/s submitting an objection.
