Proposed Temporary Closure of Manchester Square
PURSUANT to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manawatu District Council, for the purpose of permitting Feilding Promotions Inc to conduct Kids ‘n’ Country, proposes to close the following road listed hereunder to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period as stated.
Date of Closure: Saturday 7 March 2026
Time of Closure: 07.00am to 02.00pm
Perimeter Road of Manchester Square – surrounding the grass quadrant from Feilding Hotel to ANZ bank.
Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing, before 4.00 pm, Friday 13 February 2026, at the office of the Manawatū District Council, Private Bag 10001, Feilding, or email public@mdc.govt.nz. Any objections received by Manawatū District Council for this proposed road closure may be passed on to the Event Organiser. This may include contact details to allow the Event Organiser to make contact to discuss and attempt to resolve any concerns with the person/s submitting an objection.
