Council has a role to play in ensuring health premises are registered where required and that food premises meet relevant standards and regulations.

Business can apply to register with Council using the appropriate application form or online through Business Connect. Business Connect is an online platform by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE) where businesses can apply and renew registrations, licenses, and permits across government in one place.
