Temporary Closure of Trent Street
Manawatū District Council wishes to advise that PURSUANT to Section 342 (b) and the Tenth Schedule of the Local Government Act 1974, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, Trent Street from Thames Street to Severn Street including the road end, will be closed between 6.00am and 6.00pm daily (Monday-Friday) starting Monday 6 April 2026 until 30 May 2026 while wastewater overflow pipeline works are undertaken.
Resident access will be available. Rubbish collection will continue as normal.
Should weather or conditions outside of the contractors control delay the works, the closure will be undertaken on the next suitable dates.
