Proposed Temporary Closure - Manchester Square and Manchester Street
PURSUANT to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manawatū District Council, proposes to close the following roads listed hereunder to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period as stated. while the Manawatū Cultural Festival is undertaken.
Date of Closure: Saturday 18 April 2026
Time of Closure: 06.30am to 04.00pm
Perimeter Road of Manchester Square – from Feilding Hotel around to YOU travel.
Manchester Street - from Bowen Street to Kimbolton Road
Any person objecting to the proposals is called upon to lodge notice of their objection and grounds thereof in writing, before 4.00 pm, Friday 13 March 2026, at the office of the Manawatū District Council, Private Bag 10001, Feilding, or email public@mdc.govt.nz. Any objections received by Manawatū District Council for this proposed road closure may be passed on to the Event Organiser. This may include contact details to allow the Event Organiser to make contact to discuss and attempt to resolve any concerns with the person/s submitting an objection.
