Tangimoana Community Committee
Tangimoana is a thriving, small coastal village, placed at the mouth of the Rangitīkei River with a sand dune structure similar to its neighbouring beach town Himatangi. The town is a well known space for local artists, a motorcamp and ample opportunities for outdoor recreation. The historic Treaty of Waitangi signing site within the village is marked by a stone monument erected in 2015.
Tangimoana Community’s vision is to retain and improve the special natural character and environment that makes us an iconic Kiwiana village.
