I refer to your official information request dated 04 August 2022.
The information you have requested is below.

1. Renewing a dog registration for 1 year -

2. A LIM for a residential property -  $334.00

3. Parking for 1 hour on the main street in town – There are no parking fees in Feilding

4. 1 litre of water from the tap (but happy to take a different measurement of water rates if that one isn't possible) -
Manawatu District Council does not charge for water on a unit basis, as the Infrastructure does not allow this to occur.

5. Returning a library book 1 week late -
Overdue Fines Returned Late - up to 1 week overdue $ 1.00
Per additional week overdue (billed at beginning of each week, up to a maximum of 5 weeks - $5) $ 1.00
Note: Overdue fines are no longer charged on junior or youth account

6. Dumping 1 tonne of waste in the landfill - Please separate green and other waste if they are different price -
1 tonne of General waste is $275.80 incl GST and 1 tonne of Greenwaste is $43.00 incl GST
(please note this is the cost to dispose at the Transfer Station, not the rate for our disposal to landfill)

The median rates invoice all properties :including GST is $3279.97, with a median capital value of $432,500

The median rates invoice for Feilding residential properties: Including GST is $3730.99 with a median capital value of $395,000
