I refer to your Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) request dated 22 December 2025, seeking information relating to Certificate of Acceptance (COA) applications received by Manawatū District Council for the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
In summary, Manawatū District Council received seven Certificate of Acceptance (COA) applications during this period. Council does not record statistical data on the number of COA applications that are declined, nor does it hold centrally recorded information on the reasons for declining individual COA applications.
Accordingly, I am refusing your request for statistical data on the number of COA applications that are declined and the reasons for declining individual COA applications under section 17(g) of the LGOIMA, as the information requested is not held by Council.
