Tangata whenua and residents of Mangaweka came together today to unveil Te Pou Herenga Tangata and officially open the new Mangaweka Bridge.
At its Council meeting on Thursday, 21 April, Manawatū District Council voted to adopt the Annual Plan for 2022/23. The adoption of the plan will see a number of significant projects progress to the next stage.
Manawatū District Council and Rangitīkei District Council have reached an agreement, along with mana whenua Ngāti Hauiti, to bring forward the opening of the new Mangaweka Bridge to Friday, 20 May.
