Temporary Road Closures - Rural Day
PURSUANT to Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Manawatū District Council, for the purpose of permitting Feilding Promotions Inc to conduct a Charter Parade, will close the following roads listed hereunder to ordinary vehicular traffic for the period as stated.
Date of Closure: Wednesday 11 November 2026
Time of Closure: 10.30am to 12.00pm
Parade Closure - only in place while participants Marching
Manchester Street - from its intersection with Grey Street to its intersection with Bowen Street
Full closures
Manchester Street – from its intersection with Bowen Street to its intersection with Fergusson Street
Perimeter Roads of Manchester Square and the section of both Manchester Street and Kimbolton Road within Manchester Square.
Goodbehere Street - from its intersection with Manchester Square to its intersection with MacArthur Street.
Kimbolton Road closed to all large trucks - from its intersection with Warwick Street to its intersection with Stafford Street. Access available to car parks only for private motor vehicles.
