Before you request a Property File

Before completing this form, make sure a Property File is the right option for you. A Property File provides copies of documents held by Council, such as building plans and consent records. If you need an official summary report about a property, you may need a LIM instead.

Check that the property is located within the Manawatū District, as we cannot process requests for properties outside this area.

You will receive payment instructions after submitting your request. Your request will not be processed until payment has been received and matched to your application. Processing time starts from the date payment is received.

Make sure you have the correct property details ready, including the address and, if available, the legal description or valuation reference. Providing accurate information will help avoid delays.
