Rubbish, Recycling & Food Scraps

MDC provides rubbish, recycling and food scraps services across the Manawatū District. What services you receive depends on where you live.

Feilding households receive weekly rubbish and food scraps collections, with recycling collected every two weeks. Rural properties may receive kerbside rubbish collection if you live on the route or in one of the villages. Alternatively you can use a designated rural recycling drop-off point. Rural residents may use village recycling centres and scheduled bulk rubbish collection events for additional recycling and disposal options.
