PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 342(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1974 and the Tenth Schedule thereof, the Manawatū District Council proposes to stop the road described in the schedule to this notice.
SCHEDULE
Wellington Land District
Description: 169m2 adjoining or passing through Part Section 3 Block XVI Te Kawau Survey District (RT WN7C/848) shown as Section 1 on Survey Office Plan 592539 (Part Main Drain Road)
The road when stopped will be transferred to the adjoining owner and amalgamated with their land which is held in Record of Title WN7C/848.
A copy of Survey Office Plan 592539 being the plan of survey showing the portion of road to be stopped is available for inspection at the office of the Manawatū District Council, 135 Manchester Street, Feilding, during normal office hours. Information is also available at www.mdc.govt.nz.
Anyone wishing to object to this proposed stopping must lodge their objection in writing with the Manawatu District Council, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 14 August 2023.
